Rauwolscine • HCl is a standard α2-adrenergic antagonist (Ki values are 3.5, 4.6 , and 0.6 nM at cloned human α2A-AR, , α2B-AR, and α2C-AR adrenoceptors respectively). Also exhibits partial agonist characteristics at 5-HT1A receptors.
